Renovation – full structural

Scope
Full interior structural renovation, transforming an old double brick house/shop into a modern family home with neutral colour scheme

Challenges
Double brick internal walls, removing internal walls, new floor plan to include ensuite, new kitchen and bathroom, additional windows and door to open up the living spaces, all new fixtures and fittings, wardrobes, flooring, undercover deck, garage and landscaping

Results
Working with qualified tradespeople the house was transformed into a modern family home, the interior colour scheme is warm neutrals for longevity and to create a feeling of coming home to somewhere that feels relaxed and welcoming

The original house is a great blank canvas.
The new curved path and landscaped fence leads to a warm welcome home
The original shop portion was transformed into two new bedrooms – a light filled and spacious main bedroom complete with ensuite, and large bedroom with built in robe
The original kitchen was expanded to give plenty of cupboard space, a larger window for lots of natural light, clean lines with no handles on the cupboads and classic white benchtop giving a light feeling with warm, natural toned walls
The original bathroom was tiny. The room was enlarged to fit a free standing bath and separate shower. Neutral warm tones for a timeless look and feel

Calming bedroom retreat

Scope
Suggest a colour scheme for a soothing and harmonious room, feeling of being in nature, quiet colours to relax after a day at work

Colours chosen
The colours chosen convey a peaceful energy of being in nature – colours of plants, leaves and bark, soft, gentle colours to create a harmonious feeling .

Green – balancing, harmonious, eases stress, strengthens the bond in a relationship, soothing, love, trust, peace
White – Gentleness, peace, cleansing, detoxifying, strengthening
Grey – soothing and gentle, bringing together the other colours

Girls bedroom – colour scheme

Scope
Design a colour scheme for a 10 year old girl, favourite colour purple, loves dogs, more grown up colours and need to feel positive in the space

Colours chosen
A range of colour colour tones was chosen, using purple as a feature colour (and amethyst crystal), positive words on canvas, and a collage of favourite dog breeds for the walls. Tones of peach and teal. Add texture with baskets and fun decorations of paper balls

Wedding – Lavender and pink theme

Scope
